Senior Geologist


Prepares environmental monitoring reports, environmental site assessments, performs statistical analysis of environmental data, and conducts field investigations by installing soil borings, groundwater monitor wells or other monitoring points.  Evaluates environmental monitoring data and activities, reviews laboratory results and reports findings.  Prepares permit applications and permit modifications.  Performs other field work as needed including aquifer tests, collecting soil samples, etc.  Supports regulatory compliance with all pertinent government laws, rules, and regulations.


Senior Environmental Technician


•        Provides direct technical support to field projects for environmental monitoring projects. Prepare for project-check parameter list, organize sample containers as necessary. Review relevant field documents and sampling and analysis plans; update project field binders as necessary.  Organize and maintain field equipment in proper working condition.  Ensure appropriate equipment is identified and packed prior to departure form the office.  Travel to project locations; perform project in accordance with applicable regulations and sampling and analysis plan or company protocol, complete field records and manage records as instructed, ship samples as needed.  Update Field Services Manager, of any problems encountered after project or during project, if necessary.  

 •        Supports the Field Services Manager in scheduling all Field Projects and making team assignments on a project by project basis for each day, week & month, as needed.

•        Consults with Field Services Manager or other team members as needed on projects providing, problem-solving, time-management, and effective support for operations-decisions.  Insures good use of time, equipment and other resources in completing field projects.

•        Insures personnel and team safety exercising proper judgment with safety concerns and using personal protection equipment.

•        Insures that his/her field work represents the Carel model of effective and required procedures and support all other Field Services team member in the effective implementation of the same.

•        May be assigned lead project responsibility on a project-by-project basis, leading other technicians on the team on the project.

•        Supports the Field Services Manager in ordering and managing Field Services supplies and inventory management.

•        Provides the time sheet input into the weekly payroll preparation on a timely basis.

•        Manages directly or through other technical team members, the maintenance and the effective operations of the Company field services equipment assigned to him/her.

 Ensures safety and regulatory compliance with all pertinent government laws, rules, and regulations regarding the field services work.
